“Manchester is finally Red!!!”: Did eighth place United have a better season, than trophyless “gunners”?

Manchester United end the season with a bang!!!  by winning their thirteenth FA cup after successfully beating, the current four time premier league winners Manchester city, in arguably one of the most exhilarating Manchester derby’s of the season. Especially, since City comfortably won four of their five recent games which recently made the derby’s more one sided  and boring , an occurrence that made “the Cityzens” corky enough to establish Manchester as  blue.

Man United lifting their thirteenth FA title

Today the red devils have lived up to their name by making city ‘bleed’ and reinstating that Manchester is indeed with no doubt still red. All this was made possible by the two young sensations Alehandro Garnacho who scored an early opener by capitalizing on Gvardiol’s mistake and Kobbie Mainoo who scored the second and winning goal after a lovely link up united play that was finalized by a lovely pass from skipper Bruno Fernandez. The two youngsters have been known to come through for the club in crucial games and today was no different showing that they are not only reliable to the club but might perhaps be the clubs future.
United’s win at the Wembley clinching their 13th FA cup title and preventing city breaking another title of winning the premier leagues first ever double, on top of their record fourth, in addition to their previous treble a feat that could have rendered city domestically dominant and probably making the premier league a boring farmers league especially since Pep Guardiola has never lost the FA cup since 2011. Therefore it is safe to say that united might have saved the league by reigniting flames of excitement back to the league, by showing it takes a whole lot more to break the indomitable red devils.
The reds who finished eighth in the leagues table, after a series of injuries of key players like Portuguese maestro Bruno Fernandez and “Argentinian butcher” Lisandro Martinez who were present in today’s game and showed their importance by playing pivotal roles in today’s game by starting a key set piece, that ended in wonder kid Kobbie Mainoo’s second winning goal securing the title and confirming Eric ten hags claims that United’s main reason for finishing eighth are the consequent injury problem that has plagued the club. This game’s outcome might just end up saving the Dutchman’s job, which was hanging in the balance especially after he broke all kinds of negative records since the clubs inception in 1876.

It might be debatable and quite laughable honestly if critics consider Manchester united to have had a better ending season than their rival’s arsenal, who just like last season failed to win any silverware but instead settled for a second place finish for the second time, after a narrow but disappointing failure to Pep Guardiola and his men. ironically united have managed to have the second highest tally in the FA cup wins boasting an impressive (13)wins second only to arsenal’s(14), making them one win away from tying with the gunners and probably surpassing them, especially if they continue with their bottling streak.
