Today the Friday 20th November 2020, the royal family is happily celebrating its 73rd wedding anniversary. Queen Elizabeth and her lover Prince Philip are marking 73 years ever since they got wedded. Despite their old age, they did not forget to celebrate their anniversary.
The sweet message
The royal announced the amazing news through their Instagram page @theroyalfamily by post . In the post, the royal family could be seen holding a card with a pop-out figure of ”73” accompanied with the caption. It read….. ”This new image has been released to mark the 73rd wedding anniversary of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh tomorrow,”.From the anniversary post caption, it’s evident that the card they were reading came from their grandchildren, Prince George, Prince, and Prince Louis.
There were also other cards sent from well-wishers. The post went on to read “In the photograph, Her Majesty and His Royal Highness are seen looking at an anniversary card made by Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis alongside other cards and letters sent by well-wishers. The photograph was taken by @Chrisjacksongetty in the Oak Room at Windsor Castle earlier this week.”
On their anniversary, Queen Elizabeth did not fail to attar sweet words to his hubby.” He is someone who doesn’t take easily to compliments, but he has quite simply been my strength and stay all these years, “she said. The couple had much time apart ever since Philip retired from public engagement in 2017. But since the lockdown, they have been spending their quarantine in Windsor castle.
