Today, Westlands MP Hon. Tim Wanyonyi donated 1,000 chairs and 300 iron sheets to 74 churches from different denominations across Westlands. The event took place at the Westlands Constituency Office.
He said the chairs were contributions from his friends, while the iron sheets were provided by Mabati Rolling Mills. “When I go out there, I get resources and bring them for you to enjoy,” he told the gathering.

Hon. Tim emphasized the need to support churches, just like early Christians did. “God’s work must continue. We must support our pastors and places of worship,” he added.
Speaking about his future plans, Hon. Tim confirmed that he intends to run for Bungoma Governor in 2027, after completing his third and final term as Westlands MP. “Nairobi and Bungoma both want me. Bungoma has accepted me, and I need your blessings,” he said.
He urged Kenyans to pray for the country, and challenged leaders to promote unity, not anger or tribalism. He also encouraged church leaders to step up and speak out on matters affecting governance.
Pastors and beneficiaries praised Hon. Tim for his continued support, from school fees to income-generating projects and spiritual empowerment.
