Vocal city MP has urged Kenyans to prepare for tough times ahead following the passing of the controversial Finance Bill crafted by President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwa
nza administration.

Speaking on Thursday, June 22 in Githogoro during the official opening of newly tarmacked Githogoro-Runda link road, Westalnds MP Tim Wanyonyi absolved Azimio MPs from blame following the developments in parliament.
He said Kenya Kwanza politicians used their numerical strength in parliament to ensure the bill was passed despite protests from Kenyans.

According to him, by passing the 16 per cent on fuel, Kenya Kwanza had officially handed Kenyans a heavy burden explaining that the price of almost everything in the country was going to go up.
“Now, its upon you to know how to deal with them (Kenya Kwanza MPs) since they have brought to you heavy burdens like the 16% on fuel. It will affect everybody and everything will increase,” he said.
He added: “Be prepared to tighten your belts. You (some of you here) are the ones who voted for this administration into power, so, just find a way on how to deal with it.”
He urged Kenyans to always be sober when electing leaders into various offices and leadership saying such decisions go a long way.

Azimio is steadfast in championing for the rights and wellbeing of Kenyans, he said as he blamed their Kenya Kwanza counterparts for initiating a tough and rough time for Kenyans.
At the same time, he urged the youths to desist from engaging in criminal activities and called on residents to work closely with police officers in getting rid of criminals.
Mr Wanyonyi said that locals should lead in making sure that they leave in a secure community by reporting criminals to police and to be on the lookout for suspicious characters.
“We want to make sure that security is tight. In many cases, those who commit crime in Githogoro are outsiders. Please, work with police and report any criminals making live difficult here,” he urged.
To avoid being tempted into crime, he urged the youths to embrace education and seek for skills that would be useful for them.
He donated a car washing machine to one of the youths groups in Githogoro as one way of empowering them and opening a way for truthful and legal income generating activity.
