Zamzam, Wambilianga Feted as Best Women MPs

The fourth edition of the Independent Kenya Women Awards took place at South Field Mall, Mombasa Road, celebrating and honouring women who have made significant contributions to society and institutions.

This prestigious event highlighted the exceptional achievements of various women leaders and influencers across Kenya.

Among the notable honourees was Hon. Catherine Wambilianga, the Bungoma County MP, who was recognized as the Best Performing Women Representative in the Western Region.

She also received the award for the Most Improved Women Representative in Kenya, based on research sponsored by the Independent Kenya Women Awards.

Hon. Zamzam Mohammed, the Mombasa County Woman Representative, was awarded the title of Best Performing Women Representative in Kenya 2024, as well as the Best Performing Women Representative in the Coastal Region.
